It’s Good to Meet You!

My Name is Julie Parkinson. I live in Maidenhead with my husband, 3 young children and our dog Rocket. I’m a busy Mum, a Personal Trainer and a keen gardener.

Super sweaty after lunch time zoom class!

Are you looking to improve your fitness – with an instructor who understands you?  Someone who knows how tough life can sometimes be?

There have been times in my life when even standing was impossible. For months I had to crawl to the bathroom in the mornings before my body allowed me to get up.  I have experienced rehabilitation through exercise, after 2 major back operations.

I understand the impact of childbirth on the body and the importance and logistic challenges of fitting exercise into an already busy life.

I am not your average personal trainer – I have a wealth of life experience and I understand the challenges of life.

I am 52 years young and believe that keeping fit and eating well keep us feeling and looking good. Despite, and because of, my experiences – I live life to the full! ….and I truly believe that you can too.

Please contact me to discuss your fitness goals – call me on 07720 545096.

Before starting our family I worked within the computer games industry. That was great fun, but I then decided to follow my true passion in life. I have always encouraged those around me to exercise and eat healthily.

I love running! Although I’m not a natural runner & I probably should push myself more. I like running for the talking & camaraderie with good friends. There’s nothing more fun than running through a storm.

I am also a running coach!! I love nothing more than passing on my love of running to my clients. Improving your confidence in running, with support and technique training, can go a long way to bringing on that love.

I get great satisfaction from growing fruit & veg at our allotment. Spending time there is physically taxing, yet mentally relaxing.

Rocket, our dog, is the newest addition to our family. He’s a Cockapoo and my running partner. I aspire to run with his abandon. He was well named! He thinks all other runners are part of our pack. I apologies to all runners who have been herded by him.

Rocket needed 3 baths after this run!

If you feel that I am the type of person that you could put your trust in, please contact me. Together we will reach your health & fitness goals!
